As a side note I suspect Weil's eternity is more equivalent to "the world" card in the Tarot deck as I play it, (or at least is born in the same urge to world and should the self) and her disinterest in history is like my disinterest in Christian eschatology. Why choose a time-related word like eternity for this I am unsure.
